Elizabeth Lutz (pron. Lutes) is a Swedish to English translator with a BA in English and Scandinavian Studies from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota and an MA in Literary Translation from the University of East Anglia in Norwich. Her special interests are in children’s literature and poetry. Her translations of poems by Ingrid Sjöstrand are published in the UEA MA Literary Translation & Poetry Anthology available from Egg Box Publishing. Most recently, she translated ten chapters from Sandvargen by Åsa Lind for her dissertation in Literary Translation in 2024. Elizabeth writes for the Swedish Book Review. She is also an enthusiastic knitter with an interest in translating non-fiction books on knitting. Originally from Wisconsin in the US, Elizabeth is currently based in Norwich, England.
