Ann Henning Jocelyn started her career as a translator of English fiction, introducing author such as Kazuo Ishiguro, Ruth Rendell and Joanna Trollope to Swedish readers. Nowadays she specialises in English translations of leading Scandinavian playwrights, such as Sara Stridsberg, Henning Mankell and Jon Fosse. She also writes English versions of Swedish musicals and opera. As an author, she has had nine books published in many European countries as well as India and China, and her seven stage plays to date have been produced in various venues, incl. London's West End.
