Degree in Scandinavian Languages from University College London. Career in academic librarianship in the UK and bookselling in France. Full-time literary translation since 2012. Editor of Swedish Book Review from 2015 to 2020. Published translations include works by Anne Swärd, P.O. Enquist, Sara Stridsberg and Mikael Niemi. Her translations have been shortlisted for the Bernard Shaw Prize and the Crime Writers’ Association International Dagger and longlisted for the Booker International Prize, the Dublin Literary Award and the National Translation Award in Prose.
