Degree in Scandinavian Languages from University College London. Career in academic librarianship in the UK and bookselling in France. Full-time literary translation since 2012. Editor of Swedish Book Review from 2015 to 2020. Recent translations include Sara Stridsberg’s The Faculty of Dreams, which was longlisted for the 2019 Man Booker International Prize, and Mikael Niemi’s To Cook a Bear, winner of the Petrona Award 2021.
